Account Deletion
How to request deletion of your Spark account and associated data, including what is deleted, what may be retained, and backup timing.
Request deletion in the Spark app
You can request deletion directly in Spark. Open Spark, go to Me -> Account, tap Delete account, then confirm using the email link Spark sends you.
The confirmation step protects your account from accidental or unauthorized deletion requests.
- Open Spark.
- Go to Me -> Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm using the email link Spark sends you.
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot access Spark, email privacy@spark-rm.com from the email address on your Spark account and ask us to delete your account.
Using the email address on your account helps Spark verify that the request belongs to the account owner.
- Send the request to privacy@spark-rm.com.
- Use the email address on your Spark account.
- Include that you want your Spark account deleted.
Data deleted after confirmation
When deletion is confirmed, Spark deletes active product data including contacts, notes, reminders, interactions, conversations, suggestions, devices, notifications, imports, and feedback.
Spark also anonymizes account identifiers so the active product account is no longer tied to your personal identity.
Data that may be retained
Spark may retain narrow records where required for compliance, tax, dispute defense, security, abuse prevention, subscription history, legal acceptance, admin audit, or aggregate cost/audit records.
These retained records are limited to the operational, legal, and security purposes that require them.
Backup retention
Encrypted backups roll off within 90 days after deletion is confirmed.
