Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content stored in Spark infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material to be removed and information sufficient for us to locate it
  4. Your contact information (address, phone number, email)
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is unauthorized
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-notice

If we remove your content based on a takedown notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may file a counter-notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material removed and where it appeared
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake
  4. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
