Spark is a personal relationship tool. Use it for personal relationships. The following uses are not allowed:
Prohibited
- Harassment, stalking, or doxxing of any person — whether or not they're a Spark user.
- Bulk or automated outreach. Spark is not a sales-cadence tool. Don't use it to mass-message lists, run cold-outreach campaigns, or automate suggestions across hundreds of contacts at once. We may rate-limit or terminate accounts that exhibit this pattern.
- Importing contact data you don't have permission to import. If you're putting someone's data in Spark, you should reasonably believe they'd be okay with it.
- Using AI outputs to train competing AI systems. Drafted messages, bios, and suggestions are personal artifacts, not training data.
- Reverse-engineering or scraping the app, API, or web surfaces.
- Sharing your account. One account per person.
- Misrepresenting yourself to other parties via Spark's drafts (e.g., impersonation, fraud).
- Illegal activity of any kind.
Reporting
If you believe a Spark user is violating this policy, email legal@mauve.app with details.
Enforcement
We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent termination and refusal of future signups.
